Môn Actif online bookings: Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions. By using the Service you indicate that you accept the Terms and Conditions and that you agree to abide by them.
Access
This Service is provided for the use of members of Anglesey leisure centres, aged 16 and above. Access to the site is permitted on a temporary basis, and Anglesey County Council reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Service without notice. From time to time, access may be restricted to some parts of the Site, or the entire Site, to registered users.
Registration
If you wish to use the Online Booking Service, you must be a leisure card holder and are required to complete the online registration before using the Service. You are solely responsible for keeping your account username and password confidential and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Anglesey County Council has the right to disable any user identification code or password at any time, if you have failed to comply with these terms of use.
Booking
Nominated bookable activities and fitness classes are available to book through this Service:
Programme details are available from the Isle of Anglesey County Council website and Môn Actif Facebook page. Alternatively posters / programmes are available at your local Centres.
All classes have limited places available so it is highly recommended that you book your place in advance.
Members may only book one place per class and this place is for their sole use. Members are not allowed to book classes for other people.
Members who book classes and fail to attend will potentially have class booking privileges removed.
Members registered for the Service can book fitness classes and a 6 days in advance.
Members may book activities for single sessions. The duration of these sessions depends upon the activity.
Due to venue capacity restrictions, we operate a policy of limiting members to 2 online activity bookings per day. A maximum of 12 items (consisting of activity or class bookings or a combination of the two) may be booked per 6 day period.
Bookings can also be made either in person or by phone at the leisure centre. Card payments can be taken over the phone.
Where applicable, payment for fitness classes and activities must be made at the time of booking.
It is your responsibility to prove your status and you are required to produce your swipe card at EVERY VISIT. Failure to do this regularly will result in you being charged non Member rates.
For all casual group bookings (e.g.5-a-side), the booking is charged at the full rate. For ‘Any Time Full Package’ and ‘Off Peak Package’ members booking squash, pre booking is allowed 24 hours in advance; all participants must be members of the scheme.
You must retain your receipt for your class, as ticket checks may be carried out.
You must hand your ticket to the coach/instructor for all coaching sessions.
A non-arrival monitoring system is in operation for all bookable classes.
Payment
Bookings made through this Service are confirmed only upon payment of the appropriate booking fee. Bookings that have not been paid for within five minutes of booking will not be held.
The Isle of Anglesey County Council does not retain any credit or debit card information used to pay for bookings made through this Service.
Cancelling a Booking
Members registered for the Service may cancel their booking online using the ‘My Account’ facility, via telephone, or in person, up to 24 hours in advance of the class start time.
Môn Actif operates a *credit policy. If the customer cancels with more than 24 hours notice, *credit will be given. Credit or refund will not be given if the customer cancels their booking with less than 24 hours notice.
If Môn Actif cancels a class or activity with less than 24 hours notice, *credit or refund will be given. Requests for refund must be made by e-mail to monactif@ynysmon.gov.uk and include details of the activity, date, time and include proof of payment.

*A single transaction, to an equal value, on bookings at the specific venue.
Member Communications
By signing up to this Service you agree that Anglesey County Council may communicate with you about issues affecting your past, current or future class bookings via the Site messaging service.
You are advised to check your messages when you log into the Site and ahead of any bookings you may have.
The Isle of Anglesey County Council may contact you with regards to issues such as:
- Problems with the site or Service.
- Advanced notification, where possible, of works affecting either the Site, Service or the venue.
- Class venue changes, cancellations, change to advertised timetable, etc.
- There are three instances where auto-generated emails will be sent to Members:
- An account activation link is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.
- A link to a printable booking confirmation is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.
- A re-activation link is sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.
- Members wishing to communicate with the Isle of Anglesey County Council regarding bookings made online should contact the Isle of Anglesey County Council in person or via hamdden@ynysmon.gov.uk or leisure@anglesey.gov.uk
Members should provide the following details which can be found on their booking confirmation:

Members should not respond to the auto-generated emails outlined in the above section.

The content of the Site (including, but not limited to all text and artwork) is protected by copyright. The copyright is owned by the Isle of Anglesey County Council or is otherwise licensed from a third party for use by Anglesey County Council.
You may view or download any part of the Site for private purposes, but you are not permitted, without the Isle of Anglesey County Council permission, to:
Store the Site, or any part of the Site, for any other purpose;
Print copies of the Site, or any part of the Site, for any other purpose;
Reproduce, copy or transmit the Site, or any part of the Site, in any way, for any other purpose or in any other medium.

Changes
The Isle of Anglesey County Council reserves the right to amend or replace the Terms and Conditions at any time. If the Isle of Anglesey County Council make any substantial changes, you will be notified via a prominent notice on the Site.
